Magazine Update

For those who may have missed some of the recent updates I have been sharing with you all on my various Twitter accounts let me give you a hand. First off the upcoming re-release of the magazine is all about the previous issue that was release late last year. The only difference this time around is that all the money will be given to a charity benefiting mental health awareness instead of only a portion of the proceeds be given to the charity. The reason for this is that the re-release isn't suppose to be an attempt to make money it's just an attempt for me to market this the right way and see if I can do a better job then I did the first time.

I have said this before and will say it again nothing I do has ever had anything to do with money it has also been about passion. Making money doing this would just be an added bonus that would make all this seem very surreal. Adding in the ability to benefit something that is very close to my heart due to my own personal battles with mental health the money is only secondary. I mean this from the bottom of my heart being able to help a charity that exists to let someone in need of help know that they aren't alone makes this completely worth it all on it's own. Now I also want to point out that the second issue that is in the works will also see a portion of the profits donated, and that is the reason for the re-release this way anything issue one makes can be donated, and we can also start hyping issue two.

The one thing that I might have missed the first time around though is that when the magazine does become available you are purchasing a hard copy of the magazine and not a digital copy like I had thought. The other part that needs to be stated is that on the website I am selling it through they only allow me to sell the magazine for two weeks before they take it down. This is the reason that if you in the past tried to buy it and it wasn't there it's because it was likely two weeks after I first uploaded it for sale.

Either way though any hoops I have to jump through to get this up and for sale is worth it and even if just one person buys it that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters to me is being able to donate something to those who really help people. This project has always been about passion not just from me, but also from the other writers who clearly have a passion for the sport they choose to write about with the magazine.
